She said the cost of treatment at Vimec was only by 50% of that in Singapore or Thailand and equivalent to or even lower than that of other private hospitals in Hanoi.
Besides, having treatment abroad is much more costly due to the expenses of travelling, fees, lounge and boarding for the family of the patient, especially language obstacles when disputes occur .
