VINMEC TIMES CITY TO RECEIVE CERTIFICATION OF MERIT FROM MINISTRY OF HEALTH

The Certification of Merit from Ministry of Health acknowledged the hospital’s excellent achievements, motivating Vinmec Times City to continue its effort in attempting to perfect its professionalism and service, raising to international standards.

On the Feb 27th, he Ministry of Health awarded Vinmec Times City with a Certification of Merit for its “Excellent achievements, accomplishing the  raising of quality for examining and treating diseases; establishing green and clean medical facilities; renewing service attitude towards patient satisfaction.” Vinmec is one of only six hospitals nationwide which were awarded with certifications upon the celebration of Vietnam National Doctors’ Day on February 27th.

Vinmec was further presented with a version of President Ho Chi Minh’s Letter to Medical Officers Conference early 1955 by Chief of Party Central Office Nguyen Van Nien.

In 2017, Vinmec Times City made an outstanding impression about its professionalism after multiple successes in applying complicated and advanced techniques to Obstetric, Cardiology, Oncology, Organ Transplant. increasing diagnostic efficiency and treatment care for patients. Moreover, Vinmec Times City is the first private hospital in Vietnam to successfully transplant livers and kidneys from living donors.

The hospital is proficiently invested in international standard facilities and experienced with  collaborating with leading partners worldwide such as the US, France and Japan. in order to enhance personnel competence, apprehending scientific application technology. Over 1000 participants have joined comprehensive training to upraise professional competence, service quality and attitude.

Wishing to bring a comfortable and safe environment to satisfy every client, the hospital has done a thorough review and cut down on procedure and process (medical payment, insurance payment, scheduling appointments, patient information managing software), restructured to optimize its human resources. In reality, clients’ satisfaction rate is maintained at a high level of over 90%.

Being a non-profit medical model, over the last year, Vinmec Times City has been deploying charity operations with a supported fee up to 100% for thousands of patients, especially for veterans and those who endure poverty or hardship.

With such effort, Vinmec has been highly appreciated by Ministry of Health for hospital facility, service quality and attitude.

Clients’ satisfaction is the forefront criteria in Vinmec Times City’s operation.

In 2017, for the first time, the Ministry of Health executes ratings for “Renewing service attitude by medical officers towards patients’ satisfaction” in general hospitals and specialized provincial hospitals in 63 provinces and cities, along with 37 Central hospitals nationally.

Rating criterias emphasizing the satisfaction of patients are divided into 5 categories, which are: accessibility, information clearance and procedure, facility quality, personnel quality and provided service results.

Patients’ rating were then collected via referendum, the vote also included criterias about green & clean infrastructure and some other criterias from Hospital Quality Rating Criteria Handbook.

Since being established, Vinmec Times City has been awarded consecutively for 3 years from 2013 to 2015 with Excellent Competitive Certification from Ministry of Health. In 2016, Vinmec was also honored with Certification of Merit from the Ministry.
