Researching and applying stem cell therapy for cerebral palsy, Vinmec Times City International Hospital has obtained initial success in the treatment of this disease.
In the state framework which the topic “Research and use stem cell for cerebral palsy of children” is approved by Ministry of Science and Technology, Vinmec International Hospital will support a part of expense for 21 pediatric patients with cerebral palsy having demand to be treated by stem cell therapy at the hospital in December, 2015.
Application and screening will be open from 14 to 31/12/2015 at Vinmec Times City International Hospital (458 Minh Khai, Hai Ba Trung, Ha Noi). All of the patients sponsored are pediatric patients with cerebral palsy aged 2 – 15 whose disease is caused by lack of oxygen at birth and meet the Selection Commitee’s eligibilities.
