Vinmec – an international five star hospital-facility .
In response to the medical socialization policy issued by the Party and State which calls for further involvement of economic sectors in healthcare, especially in medical service of high quality in order to reduce public hospital overload, on the other hand, to timely fulfill demands for high level medical services of some well-off people, Vingroup has recently taken part in this field by opening Vinmec International Hospital.
Located on an area of approximately 2.5 ha in Times City urban zone at 458 Minh Khai, Hanoi, Vinmec is built as a five star hospital-facility with 19 departments and 31specialites with hi-tech and intensive support units. On this occasion, Vingroup offered a health check-up program to those who had contributions to the country, children and poor people at Vinmec International Hospital at a cost of nearly 50 billion VND. Besides, Vingroup donated the Health Ministry 50 billion VND, 30 billion of which contributes to building a new Oncology Center to reduce the overload at Bach Mai Hospital, and 20% of which is for the establishment and operation of 10 clinics in distant and remote areas.
