From 16/10/2012 Dr Philippe Jacob will start his journey at Vinmec. During his visit here Dr Jacob will act as medical consultant, supporting orthopedic doctors of Vinmec International Hospital and provide consultation advice for treatment of patients.
Dr Jacob is currently the Head of Department for Orthopedic Surgery at Creil Center Hospital – France (Hospitaier de Creil). He is a Specialist Orthopedic surgeon both Adult and Pediatric. He performs Arthroscopic surgery, knee hip and shoulder replacement surgery.
Experienced in the treatment of sports injuries, he was the Orthopedic doctor for the equestrian athlete of Racecourse Lion.

From 16/10/2012 to 15/11/2012 Dr Jacob will be available in the Orthopedic Clinic to provide advice and guidance to the doctors of Vinmec. He will conduct medic al examination and advise on Arthroscopic surgeries for musculoskeletal diseases. His focus will be on knee, hip, sporting injuries such as torn cartilage, and cross ligaments. Assist to diagnose and advise treatment of degenerative joint disease of the knee and hip. Procedures attended will include, arthroscopic bone repair of knee, Knee Hip and shoulder replacement.
Dr Jacob will instruct and provide arthroscopy training for the Doctors of Vinmec. Workshops will be conducted to share up to date knowledge of sporting injuries treatments with Doctors from other hospitals.
Dr Jacob will be in attendance at Vinmec International Hospital from 16/10/2012 to 15/11/2012 Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings each week.
