Vinmec International Hospital has officially opened counseling and treatment center for mental disease and autism since the 5th of May 2014, with the goal to provide mental healthcare for both adults and children.
The modern society with an increasing speed of life has put too much pressure on its people, including both adults and children, making them at risk of developing mental illness. However, until now there is still a lot of patients that are undiagnosed or without the right treatment. It caused a decrease in quality of life, lost of labor force, and increase burden for the family and the society.
With the desire to take care of mental health for both adults and children, Vinmec International Hospital has officially opened counseling and treatment center for mental disease and autism from the 5th of May, 2014.
The center diagnoses and assesses psychological aspects of children with autism, speech delay, hyperactivity, intellectual delay, emotional behavioral disorders …; treats outpatients and performs psychological intervention for children with autism, speech delays, attention deficit and hyperactivity; as well as to assess, counsel and treat outpatients: patients with cancer, infertility, postpartum patients and the elderly…

The doctors are experienced psychological experts, with high reputation such as Dr. Nguyen Kim Mai, former Deputy Director of the Hanoi Hospital of Psychiatry; Dr. Quach Thuy Minh, specialist in Pediatric Internal Medicine and Pediatric Neurology, with over 30 years of working experience at the Department of Psychiatry, The National Hospital of Pediatrics; and Dr Tran Thi Ngoc Hoi.
